Case for dependent Thayers

I just switched from in-line to dependent Thayer valves on my bass, and it won't fit in my BAM softpack case. Can anyone suggest a light, fairly safe case (like the BAM) that will fit this configuration:

Thanks!
PS: There will be a BAM softpack on the market very soon................

I had to sell my Bam a long time back for a similar reason.
I currently have a dependent Edwards in a Marcus Bonna, though many here suggest what I've been doing for a decade is impossible...
I also have a dependent Shires in a Protec Ipac, which I suspect would be roomy enough to swallow nearly any configuration.
Hope that helps,
Andrew

Hi,
Is the protec a soft case? It looks like it in the pictures that I found.
If it's not too much of a pain, could you post or send a pic of your horn in the Marcus Bonna?

According to the description on their website it has a wooden frame.

It's a similar construction to the Bonna, or at least a similar level of protection.

My dependent Edwards fits perfectly in my iPac case.
The thread title had my hopes up for an engaging chat or editorial about the use of or preference for dependent thayers.

Thanks. I have an email in to hornguys to see about the Modelo F case. It could be a trick of the angle, but I feel like my Shires is a little more offset (wider) than your Edwards. Probably not.

That's a whole other thread, but I will say that I am loving the new set up. Seems more stable. Even though I played in line since 1988 (!), I don't think that I'll miss too much about it.

I also had my hopes for this being a Edwards dependent Thayer bass thread. I have played this horn for a few years now, and I recently almost traded it. I love how it plays, but it is a very heavy horn.

Just to follow up, I bought an XL Marcus Bonna from the hornguys. They thought that the wider (and deeper) bell area would allow the horn to sit lower in the case. It fits, and is lighter and slightly smaller than my BAM, so I'm happy all the way around.
