ERGObone
Where's the best/cheapest place I can buy an ERGObone? I just need the chair stand, not the chest harness.

If you buy directly from ERGOBrass, you can order the parts piecemeal instead of purchasing the whole set.

Re: ERGObone
Okay thanks everyone.
Do you think it's worth getting the entire set? I've been leaning toward just buying the sitting-down set because I do the majority of my playing sitting down, and when I do stand up it's not for a long time and my arm can handle it. The fatigue I'm getting in my left arm just comes after playing for a long time, and I don't usually play standing for a long time.
But would there be some other advantage(s) to just having the entire set that I'm not considering?

The ErgoBone is great. And it might be nice to have the option to stand. Either way, you will have an easy time selling it for good money if you decide you no longer need it.

I use mine for contra and for long bass sessions. It's perfect for that.
FWIW, the chest mount is useless for me. I can't adjust it to work without undue pressure on my breathing.

Re: ERGObone
I have used one on-and-off for 10+ years. I used it every day when I had a idiopathic shoulder impingement. PT and exercise helped a lot, although I haven’t kept up with the weight lifting...
My 2 cents: buy the whole kit. You never know when you might need to stand. It takes a minute or so to install, less time to remove, and no time at all to change from sitting to standing, if you’re already wearing the harness and holder.

It definitely works for some, and I wish it worked for me!
