Announcing 2017 Third Coast Trombone Retreat Guest Artists, Faculty, and Dates!

We are pleased to welcome:

Guest Artists:
Toby Oft, Principal Trombone, Boston Symphony
Denson Paul Pollard, Bass Trombone, Metropolitan Opera

Guest Faculty:
David Binder, Second Trombone, Detroit Symphony

Faculty Directors:
John Sebastian Vera, Principal Trombone Pittsburgh Opera and River City Brass Band
Nick Schwartz, Principal Bass Trombone, New York City Ballet

The Retreat will take place August 14-21, 2017. Application deadline is June 1.

Interesting, no commercial/jazz players on the faculty and more importantly another one with no female faculty members!

If you want jazz, try the Jamie Aebersold camp at Louisville. I did that years ago and it was big fun.
