This morning I get a 352. Used of course. €120 shipped.
Good condition with what seems to be a “newer” slide stamped “Yamaha Japan M1” on a side, “FP” on the other one. 352 genuine slide? I don’t think so: anybody knows? 354 perhaps?
I don’t really have played it at the moment, but what’s your opinion about this horn?

Big issue on some of these older Yammies is the plating on the inner slide. If the chrome has any bubbles on it or holes in it you have a big problem. Fortunately, a new (used) slide is pretty cheap and the 354 slide fits fine.
I wouldn't trade a good King 3B or Bach 12 for one of these, but they are good small bore horns. Work well in noisy situations.
FWIW, Doug Elliott won his audition to the Airmen of Note playing one of these.

I had a 354 a few years back. It also had "M1" stamped on the slide. That slide was very, very nice. Perhaps the slide has already been updated.

Thank you for the insights.
I think the bell section is a bit stuffy. But the slide is very nice: this works amazingly well with my 891Z bell section! A bit sharp as the slide is shorter, but the tuning slide helps correcting the tuning.
