I've been asked to play in the pit band for this. I've not seen the book, and there's not much on google. Any pointers? I'm expecting raucous 70's disco horn. 3B'll cut it, right?

Well, I've got the book. First note: bottom C.
Yay! It's a doubler.
No, wait. 3 bars rest then up to a high Bb.
Then pretty much lead tenor stuff until another medley with a bottom c to high a range.
So it needs a trigger
Which for me means an 88H. Which isn't really the horn for disco.
Should I play it all on the 88 or take the 3B for the bits that don't need? Or perhaps change mouthpieces?
Thanks for any thoughts.

I would just use the 88H.The "perfect" horn in this case would be a 3BF or maybe a Conn 52H, neither of which you own.
As for changing mouthpieces... you can, but it's risky. If you're not fully familiar and prepared for what changes occur in a horn when the piece is changed, it can make doubler's music a nightmare to play. Not to mention, if you go between a bass and tenor piece (this is assuming you would), the sound can change quite a bit because of the size difference.

Yeah, I'm going for the 88. I was overthinking it.
