I don't think Charlie recorded a full version album of the piece.

I know Chicago has a full video recording for their archives (so Charlie and Christian probably also have it). Some schools he performed it with also have full video versions. Good luck getting them to give that to you hahaha.

No studio recording that I know of exists.

Sad, it looks like a great piece that could really do a lot for trombone. But recordings would be a much needed vehicle for this.

You could just buy the score or piano reduction and work it out, too

Hahahaha!

How about asking the composer for the midi/click track? If you're planning on performing it, they might give you that.

There is no way I will be able to perform such a piece. Waaaaay above my level.

But I would really like to hear it.

I heard Charlie do it at Brevard a couple of years ago. Pretty amazing stuff. There are also some good licks for the orchestral trombones in the backup band.

I got to see the Friday night performance of that piece when Charlie played it with CSO. Unfortunately it was the day AFTER Lindberg was there. It was an amazing piece to hear. I also have been looking for a recording of it ever since, to no avail.
