So I have a ProTec case of the older style that looks almost identical to the Gator GL-Trombone case. For short hauls and storage, the ProTec case works great and has a lot of storage space, including a deep side pocket for my K&M trombone stand.
Does the Gator compare well to the older ProTec? I have a newer ProTec 306CTS case for my Selmer Bolero straight horn and while it's nice a light and protects well, the internal accessory storage is abysmal. Can barely close one compartment with a mouthpiece in it.
Thoughts? Will the Gator case be as good as the ProTec?
Thanks in advance!

Re: Gator GL-Trombone case vs. older ProTec case
I've got a ProTec, never thought of putting my in-bell stand in that side pocket. Would solve my corrosion problem and having to take it out of the case when I get home.
