Where to get a replacement rotor

Post by Old2Bone4 »

I have a newer Bach Prelude, that the repairman accidentally damaged the rotor.
is there any way I can get a replacement rotor?
I have a good repairman that says he can fix it but cannot get a rotor for it.

IF Conn-Selmer has one in stock, it can be ordered. But I don't see a Prelude trombone with an F attachment.

Otherwise it might be cheaper & easier to just get a generic replacement such as the Blessing style valve from Instrument Innovations.

Yeah we ran into that problem as well could see the instrument but not the parts...maybe too soon.
The blessing looks like it could work...may need to plate it silver to match the horn but the 90/180 looks the same.

I actually have most of a prelude bell section that I have no particular attachment to. You can e-mail me and I can try to get you some pictures sometime this week. Might be better to go with the Blessing one though
