University of Florida Brass Festival

The University of Florida will be hosting its 2nd annual International Brass Festival February 4-5, 2017. The festival is for all brass players of all ability levels, though the focus does rotate each year with 2017 being a trombone heavy year.
The festival will include plenty of guest artists, clinics, Q&As, exhibits, competitions and more!
Guest artists for this year include:
University of Tennessee Faculty Brass Quintet
United States Air Force Concert Band Trombone Quartet
Nathan Zgonc, Atlanta Symphony Orchestra, Acting Principal Trombone
Christian Paarup, Dallas/Fort Worth, Freelance Trombonist/Composer
Of particular note for 2017 is our new exhibit room featuring instruments by: Edwards, Shires, Getzen, Yamaha, Bach, Conn, Besson, Courtois, B&S, Meinl Weston, J. Scherzer, Hans Hoyer, Warburton, as well as an extensive sheet music selection from Beethoven & Company.
