FS :1970s King Duo-Gravis Bass Trombone - Bb/F/D
Dependent Valves with the split lever modification (thumb and middle finger paddles). The middle finger paddle is from Conn and is adjustable.
Split Modification and linkages by Eric Edwards
Valves rebuilt and re-plated by Osmun Music in Acton MA (near Boston)
Hand slide serviced by The Slide Doctor.
At some point before I owned it, the springs in the hand slide were replaced with traditional felt bumpers. Very minor wear on inner tubes.
I use Hetman Synthetic Light Rotor Lubricant #11 in the valves.
I use SuperSlick on the hand slide.
Condition is very, very good with just normal wear of the lacquer in places not affecting how the horn plays.
Original case included which is in great shape and free of foul odors plus an original King 29 mouthpiece. A Neotech 5131001 Trombone Grip is included too but it may be removed with just two screws.
I would prefer to sell in the US. If you live somewhere else, perhaps you can arrange a shipment to someone in the US and they could send it on to you. PayPal could be a possibility if shipped to a US address.
Price: $2600 (US) plus shipping to a US address. If you have a shipping account and can have it picked up at my house, I will provide the shipping box with dimensions and weight. The zip code is 04624, Corea, Maine.
Sale is complete when both parties agree to the price and arrangements and payment has been made.
If there are any questions or a request for additional photos, please let me know. I can email full-size pictures to you.
