Nice vintage Shires from 2003 in very good condition. Selling the horn because I don't use have the opportunity to play or use it regularly and it sits in its case.
Specs are a S2RLW 7.75 bell and a T08 = .508 bore tenor slide . It includes three lead pipes T01(in horn), T02 & T03.
The bell is a two piece unsoldered bead wire
Note: slight discoloration on bottom side of bell where brazed
Also included is an additional (1) gold brass tuning crook ( see picture) and black leather Chronkite gig bag.
Asking $2,395 and looking for local pickup in New England (New Haven, CT area) only.
"The horn blows beautifully and was manufactured during a time when Shires production was at a much slower pace. Handpicked by Steve and his staff when I was looking for horns. An incredible horn that is a real "player"."
