STOLEN TROMBONE
My King 3B has been stolen from my car in front of my house in Jonesboro, AR.
A visitor to my house yesterday morning said he noticed that my passenger back door was open on my car. Once I looked later that morning for my horn in the back hatch area, the horn was gone, which means someone had to have gotten into my car between 9:00 Sunday night (3/13) and 8:00 Monday morning (3/14) and took the trombone once they realized there was nothing else in my car worth stealing.
It's an older (early 60's, full silver two-piece counterweight--no sticker counterweight) King 3B SilverSonic inside a black BAM case that has an Arkansas State University Red Wolves sticker on the bell section of the case and various band/promotional stickers on the other end (Here Come The Mummies, Paul the Trombonist, Reckless Records, Apple, etc). Has backpack straps, and the zippers of the case have red string, so it's hard to miss that case at all. The case also contained my Griego Steve Wiest mouthpiece.
Please, everyone, keep your eyes and ears open!
