FS: Antique Eb Alto Valve Trombone

I'm selling this for a friend. The bell is marked Carl Fisher Artist New York, and there is a number 6056. Raw brass, fairly tarnished, with some dents. No water key. There is one brace that is unsoldered. It is playable, and the valves move down and up, but you should use a shank smaller than a normal small shank. A small shank fits, but just barely. It has a thumb screw where the slide and bell assemble, like Rath trombones. The bell is about 6 1/4" in diameter, and the entire instrument is about 31" long, assembled.
If all you want to do is display it, it might just need some cleaning up around the water key area. It has a nice engraving on the bell area, and the ferrules have a nice pattern, as well as the back bow guard. I have heard an estimate that a similar horn was from the 1917 era, but I have no real evidence of its age.
$125, plus shipping, which will be about $15 in the lower 48.
