I am looking to buy the older model of the King 21 trombone mouthpiece.

How does one know if it's the 'older' model? I have one, but don't remember ever buying it, so I'm guessing I might have got it when I bought my 2B back in the '60's. The shank looks to be longer than any of the other mp's I have.

The older models have a knurled ring around and the newer ones have a smooth ring around them and are slightly different in size.

From a stylistic point of view does the older model King 21 you are looking for favor my old King 22:
