Shires Parts

Post by Amconk »

Anyone ever have any luck getting repair/replacement parts from shires?

I have a valve section I'm working on, but I need the bell connector nuts, slide receiver and upper tuning slide male receiver. I've sent in several inquiries via the website using the part numbers from their schematics, but I have received no response.

Any suggestions?

They will get to it if you contact them enough. Maybe send an email to [email protected] and leave a voicemail as well to the repair department.

I've had great luck getting in contact with them using the [email protected] email. I think Nick Martino handles that account. He might need the occasional nudge if it's a particularly busy time of year for them but is typically responsive and very helpful!

I’ve had a similar experience. I just need a few simple parts (just some springs) over the last 2.5 weeks I’ve called multiple times, left messages, and sent emails with no response. I spoke with reception a few times and no one but the repair manager could help.

I finally got ahold of Nick Martino, and he said I could order the parts, but had to send him my credit card over email, or wait for the receptionist to call and take it over the phone. I'm still waiting for the phone call.
