What notes do you like to play in the high range that are different than what you were initially taught.

For example, my trombone has a very secure 5th position Bb4 that I enjoy using.

High Bb in 3rd position.

High E in a #4th position.

Definitely 3rd pos high Bb. C in 1st or 3rd, not sure which is the alternate. G in #2 and 4. F in b1 and #4. A in 2 and 4. High D in (questionable) 1st, or #3 or 4th. I don't play too many upper notes too far out on the slide, because you can find most of them plus alternates in 4th or shorter.

Here are several (theoretical) possibilities. Please enjoy exploring them.

That is a useful graphic. I'd encourage people to look at it more closely.

Apologies if you've already posted one, but do you have this for Eb alto?
