Protec Premium Series gig bag
I'm looking for a fairly cheap gig bag for my schools horn. I am thinking the Protec Premium Series bag! Is it good quality bag and will it protect my horn? I'm looking for something cheap and quality (because I'm a broke student ) If anyone has any other suggestions let me know!

If you are a broke student, why not leave it in the case it is in now? Don't spend money you don't have.
I can tell you NOT to buy one of those real cheap bags on Ebay that sell for between US$15-US$25. They have NO protection and are really poorly made.

Re: Protec Premium Series gig bag
If it's your school's horn rather than your personal instrument, you'd better check to see who is responsible for damage to the instrument. If you are responsible you'd better think three times before you start putting the instrument in anything other than case the school issued.
If it is your personal instrument, do what you like. But you should be aware that techs often refer to gig bags as dent bags. To my mind, the only ones worth having are the Cronkhite bags and the Bonna Soft Cases, and even with those leather is preferable to cordura. Neither qualifies as "fairly cheap."
