Hi everyone,
I was wondering who/which company is selling cut bell rings these days? I know several years ago it was just Shires, BAC, and Instrument Innovations. I’m not a fan of Inst. Inno. because their rings are exceptionally heavy. I like Shires, but I wonder if there are lighter ones on the market?

Butler trombones just recently started fabricating carbon rings, just FYI....
Might check with Jim Patterson in Las Cruces NM, he mainly does f.horn work, but might have an idea...
