"The Tommy Dorsey Orchestra would like to thank the family of Marilyn Brennan for this very generous gift. Marilyn was the President of a Tommy Dorsey fan club and was a huge fan of Tommy Dorsey. She wrote to Tommy many times and received this King trombone and handwritten note from Tommy as a thank you for being such a big fan. The TDO is honored by the sharing of this piece of trombone history and thanks Marilyn’s family for this wonderful gift".
