I have King 3BF with case... but no slide.

I was going to take it to a gig along with my older King 3B"s slide, and I discovered the slide won't fit in the King case (slightly too long slide).

I assumed all 3B slides from any era would still be the same size???

Yup, they should be the same. Does it have a super long rubber stopper?

Is it in facing the proper direction? I know...seems like a stupid question, but mine only goes in one way.

Oh great.....I figured it out. The 3bf case has a different opening than I am used to from my regular 3B and I was not fitting the slide in properly.....DOHHHH!
