Hey All,
Does anyone have any experience or advice on replacing a Bach 50 slide crook with an OEM Nickel silver crook or M/k's yellow or Nickel silver crook?
My current slide is a standard Bach 50 slide and I'm looking to get more response throughout the horn and more "edge" when getting into the louder dynamics.
Thank you.

Installing a nickel crook will give you (some of) the response and "edge" you're looking for. Which one to use? It really comes down to what is available. Replacing a yellow crook with another yellow crook will not gain you anything (unless it is done to change the width of the slide)

Thank you,
With the OEM crook, the bore size is .600", while the M/K is .605". How would this difference in size affect how the horn plays and responds?

Bach "say" the bore is .600"...
The difference in nominal ID is not going to make or break the deal.
