Out of tune

Thought that as a person with 4 out of 5 instruments with valves that I was having a senior moment with slide positions this morning while playing my trombone, then I realized the bass guitar was flat, VERY flat! Grandson on bass, he normally tunes strictly by ear. Today he tried the tuner on the floor at the bass position. He retuned by ear and all was well once again in the band. The leader piped up, oh yeah, that happened to the other bass player too. Grandson earned new nick name this morning…”Pancake”
