Hi all.
Hi Posaunus.
Thanks you for your question .
Yes , I am playing bass trombone ; a King Duo-Gravis , with F/bE tuned valves. The mpc is a custom Wedge : 1,14 rim' ID , cup similar to Schilke 59 , 0,310 throat.
Regards
Giancarlo

Nice job. I'm getting Brookmeyer vibes - I would have said you were playing valve trombone if I had my eyes shut for the first couple of choruses.

Hi Mgladdish .
Thanks for your replie !
Well , playing a bass trbn , that have a bigger and darker tone , I try to be "clean" as much that I can , without any gliss , portamento , etc .
Otherwise , I found the lines lacking in definition .
Regards
Giancarlo

Sounds great! It's like a nice smooth medium sound in between tenor and and what you usually hear from bass.

Hi Harrison .
Thanks you so much for your comment .
Yes , I aim to be as a a baritone- voice , compared to a singer or a saxophone . Playing the most , in general , from low F /Eb to high A / Bb , with a tone in between tenor and bass .
Regards again
Giancarlo

Love it! Some beautiful melodic jazz, right in the pocket the whole way. Excellent. Thank you for sharing that! It's one I'll listen to again.
