Pittsburgh area teachers?

Post by dprice23 »

Anybody know of a good teacher in the Pittsburgh area? I haven't found many choices online. I'm playing again after 30 years off and I want to make sure I'm starting off on the right foot with good fundamentals.

I'm willing to travel up to 50 miles for a quality instructor.

Thanks!

Check with Murphy's Music in Leechburg, Progressive Music in McKeesport, Johnstonbaugh's Music in Gibsonia and Volkwein's Music in Pgh.

Maybe reach out to the faculty at Duquesne University and see if they have any students who give lessons?

Thanks for the advice. Looks like Johnstonbaugh's in Allison Park has a Duquesne grad ass on staff. I'll let you know how it goes.
