The owner is...challenged...with locating a model or serial number and all I have are a couple of pictures. I'm guessing the counterweight is not original. Any educated guesses as to the model of this guy?
Can anyone identify this Conn?

Looking at the slide grip and engraving style… that horn may pre-date the “H” model designations. Additionally, the presence of the bell lock ring tells me that part may have been replaced, so the stamped size may be missing from the horn now.
Drawn stockings or soldered on ones on the slide? This thing is OLD..

I was able to get a serial number - 137628 - which appears to put it around 1919. Still no clue on the model. A totally uneducated guess is that it's some flavor of a 4H.
