Anyone happen to know how to get in touch with Brass Ark in LA to arrange a visit? Email and phone messages do not seem to be working...

Noah can be hard to reach. My only suggestion is to keep trying.

Email!
Not phone, he travels quite a bit, including overseas, and can take a few days to get back to you.
He’s a solid guy with some great horns, personally recommended (no affiliation)

Yep, email is the way to go. Maybe he will see your post here as well and chime in. Great shop and a great guy!

Noah is great to deal with. He always answered my emails within a few days. I also wrote him on Facebook messenger sometimes and he always answers.

If he runs his shop anything like me, there are busy times. Sometimes it's hard to get back to inquiries immediately when you'rerunninga business alone. So just be patient.

I want to express my gratitude to all of you for your kind words and support. I truly value your patience, especially when it comes to my sometimes sluggish email responses. Admittedly, I stay quite occupied. To thrive in the music industry today, one must possess a diverse set of skills. My time and energy are spread across various pursuits and ventures, a necessity in the hustle of Los Angeles.

As for The Brass Ark, it's a one-person show, and that person is me. I handle everything from taking photos and updating the website to responding to emails, offering suggestions and recommendations to clients, creating new products to bring to market, attending trade shows, recording podcasts, managing packaging, and coordinating shipping logistics. So, a heartfelt thanks to each one of you for the nice things you say about me and the shop. It's incredibly fulfilling to connect with trombonists worldwide who share a similar passion for the art and craftsmanship of instruments and equipment. Our trombone community is a constant source of inspiration, motivating me to sustain and expand The Brass Ark.

Please forgive me if I don't answer your emails immediately. I'm giving my best effort, even when some weeks feel overwhelmingly consumed by other projects. I urge clients to be persist with your emails, and I assure you that I'll get back to you and assist you as soon as I am able. I have to admit that Jim is right – using the telephone is probably the worst way to get my attention, as I tend to be very poor about listening voicemails, sorry!

Wishing everyone the best from the West Coast! Noah

And... just that that: An email from Noah the next morning! Yay! Thank you everyone for your kind and helpful responses here too. And thanks Noah!

Yeah, he was just out of touch traveling.

Indeed there is no other shop that I have found in my online perusing that has anywhere near the level of unique and legendary quality horns that you have in your inventory. Yes there are a couple of others out there that are quite decent, but nothing at your level! Well done sir!

Kindest regards - Garo

I see Noah has already gotten back to OP, but I want to chime in on this. Noah is a great guy to deal with. I've purchased two horns from him. His evaluations of both instruments was spot-on. I got to visit his little shop to try before I bought the first one. That gave me the confidence to buy the second without trying it first.

If and when I sell a horn, Noah's going to get first option of handling the sale.

As WGWTR180 noted, patience is a virtue.

Just to add, because the title is just BrassArk:
If we are talking about BrassArk, I would also recommend the Trombone Corner podcast by Noah (together with Jim Snell from Bob Reeves) in case someone hasn't heard of it yet. Nice and interesting conversations with the great players of our time.

Another Noah/Brass Ark fan. Have bought and sold horns through Noah and it's always a pleasure to work with him.
