Olds Super Star

I have been using an Olds Super Star for about a year now but have not been able to find any information about it online. I have used it mainly in jazz band with some pep band mixed in. It has played very well and the silver finish has held up really well. It is a small shank with a flat-wrap F-attachment. The serial number is 817xxx(last 3 numbers are illegible). It was made in Fullerton, California.

I had one for awhile. Nice playing and sounding horn except (IMO) in the F attachment range. Kind of stuffy.
I loved the huge bell on it. What is it 9 inches?
I think it was the same bore as the Olds Recording model, just silver plated with the added F attachment and bigger bell.

Ok, thanks. It has a pretty big sound for its small bore and the bell is nice. The f attachment is not very stuffy for me until low Dd and C. Low F to D are nice and fat with a slightly larger mouthpiece. I have used the 51D from my Yamaha euphonium to play some bass bone parts and it sounds great.
