As much as I love these 2 horns, I just don't use the Conn enough and the King, as amazing as it is, just doesn't fit for anything I'm currently doing. That said, I feel it only fair to get them into the hands of someone that will use them so they don't sit in a case in my house... If you're anywhere near middle TN, I'm happy to meet up and let you try these horns out. Also, I'm looking for a Bach 36B, preferably pre-UMI, so a trade may be possible if the planets align

I'm happy to entertain reasonable offers, shipping will be calculated based on location and for amount insured. King comes with a coffin case, Conn comes as is, no case.
What I have:
1959 Conn 48h
As much as I love this .500 bore, 8" bell magnificent small bore horn, I simply don't use it enough. Although it has been on some live and session work, it usually just sits at the house unless I have a jazz gig, and that rarely ever happens in Nashville
There are 2 small flaws in the finish on the neck pipe and main bell brace (pictured), but those spots have been polished out and lacquered over to protect the horn. Some slight "Conn wear" on the inner slides (pictured), but if kept clean and well lubed, slide is a solid 9/10. Otherwise the horn is in pristine shape.

King 3BSS
From the early 70's. What can I say, this horn is a gem. It has that classic King SS sound that can punch or be soft and mellow. You probably all know more about these horns than I do...
I saved this horn from a high school program in Florida and returned it to it's former glory. Slide is impeccable and easily a 9-9.5/10, although there is some lacquer wear on the outside and the stockings. The bell section is pristine, and all tuning slides move with ease. There is no lacquer on the entire bell section. I left it that way with the intent of having a beautiful patina develop as well as having planned on blackening the inside of the bell (as the gold wash had worn and I left it with a satin finish).
Only reason I'm selling it is I typically use a medium bore horn and my neck is a bit too wide to line up with the narrow slide. I've wanted a horn like this for years and it kind of kills me to realize I should let it go after only having it a few months...
