Lately I've seen ads for trombones from Aurorsus Musical Instruments (another Chinese company).
I can't find any information on them or reviews (other than the sketchy ones on websites selling the horns) and wondered if anyone had the scoop on these guys. I have a couple of students playing beat up wall hangers and their parents can't afford new horns so I'm always on the lookout for cheap but usable horns.

Under trombones, I see model numbers for Jupiter/XO, Yamaha, and Bach, but the brands are not mentioned by name and the prices are unrealistic. I also see what looks like an Etude ETB-100 for a couple different prices (possibly different sub-models), both are which are higher than what you'd pay for the same horn from WWBW.
It also looks like they've got a misleading URL set up that looks like it's associated with John Packer but just takes you to their own site:
https://johnpackerjp.com/
There's a couple things that make me think it's actually a demo site for someone selling a software package an online instrument store. That would explain the use of content that looks like it was scraped from other sites - but then why would there also be listings on Amazon?

Yeah, the Amazon and Temu connections confused me. But those that know me are aware that's not too difficult a task.

I actually have one of these. I was looking for a "parade" horn so when I was in outdoor community parades or events on a float I could use this instead of my good horn
. I got it for $150 on TEMU. Surprisingly, it isn't as bad as you might think. The slide isn't great, but useable. The compression is a bit weird but could be fixed if I spent some time on it. It was cheaper than a pbone, has an f attachment and is playable. Just don't expect too much.
