I'm currently in my second year of college playing a Getzen custom AFR and I am looking to step up to an independent Conn 62H. Please pm me if you know of one or are selling one in the range of 3-4 thousand.

Thanks!

I have a friend in Hagerstown, MD, that has an Elkhart 62H. It's dependent valves though. Has tuning in slide and a D slide. PM me if you're interested.

So you're looking for a new version 62H with inline valves, correct?

Seems to me we need to know whether the OP wants a modern or Elkhart 62H - different beasts to play, and very different availabilities.

The request for an inline instrument makes me think they're specifically after a modern one - a 62HI.

I asked him. he seems to want an Elkhart era horn and inline. I told him that unless it was specially made, say by Larry Minick, an inline Elkhart didn't exist.
