Olds Golden Bear Value

I have a 1946 Olds Golden Bear trombone. It’s a friend’s, and they are thinking of selling it. I’m curious what to put as a value. It’s TIS, friction fit, no slide lock. Plays well, slide is 8/10. A Dropbox link to a couple pictures are below. I’ll upload more pictures this week.
I’m hoping there are a few Olds aficionados here that can help me.
Thanks

It looks like a
first-version Super, but those date from the mid-1930's.

Maybe you have access to a better serial number list than I do. The number is 194XX.
Any idea on the age?

That's a late '40's serial, all right - which makes it one if the last TIS tenors Olds made.
I'll wait for more pics before commenting further.

I’m picking it up later today. I’ll post more pictures tomorrow.
Thanks for your response.
