Mouthpiece for Bach 6

I’m wondering what mouthpieces people are using on Bach 6’s? I can imagine stuff in the 11 range would work, but is anyone using a 6.5 ish piece? I love my 36 but it’s a lot of work to get it to bark all night, and difficult to blend with lead players on 2B’s or the like.

When I had a Bach 6, Doug's C cup worked really well with it.

I have a Bach 8, only .005” larger… I’ve had good success with a NY Bach 7 for a dark-ish sound, and a Yamaha Nils Landgren for a little more “punch” playing lead. YMMV!

The Brassark 11c worked really well, as did some of the Doug Elliot setups I have. If you like a 6.5 rim size, something like an MT or ST 100 rim but with a C or C+ cup and matching shank would be killer! If you want to fatten it out, go for a D cup.
Plenty of other pieces will be good though.

I have a NY 6 and I have used the same mouthpiece I play on my Williams 6 or any .500 bore, which is XT N104, C+, D2.
Not everybody would want a rim that size, but the C+ and D2 will work well in any series or with any rim size.

Thanks everyone!
Also @Doug great to hear the C+ isn’t too deep for that horn; did you end up making a * version for them? All the best-

Another vote for the DE C+/D2 combo - I used LT101/C+/D2 on my .485" and .500" horns and love it.
