Bought this from Baltimore Brass; formerly belonged to one of the Premier Bands. It was the best playing Bach 50 out of about 5 I tried that day. It has a single early stainless steel Thayer valve. Nickel lightweight slide is in the 64XXXs, but may not be original to the bell as it has more wear than the bell section. Removable lead pipe with the collar screw missing. Slide action is about an 7 out of 10, but probably can be cleaned to improve. Bell section is great condition with only a few small dents. Case in almost new condition with a couple of scuffs. I got it to play with an all Bach orchestral section, but they prefer my Shires. Not sure how much it is really worth, so make an offer. If in the DC area, you can try it out in person.
