Saw a trombone for sale for 130$ HUTTL line 800 and trying to find some information about it there were alredy threads about a silver colibri model of this brand but none abouth this one.The horn seems to be in a very good condition.Mostly wondering about the quality and when could it be from.

Re: Huttl line 800
Hüttl, medium quality, just buy an Olds Ambassador in good condition. Silver Colibri supposed to be a German Connstellation - like competitor. Well, I think, maybe not so much....

Re: Huttl line 800
I recently bought a silver plated Hüttl small bore, it doesn't say anything about the model or year though. I think it could be some model from about 50 or 60 years ago. I jus t says "Made by Hüttl REGD western Germany". I think it is a nice instrument with a very clear and strong sound which I like but definitely not a standard instrument. Third slide position is not exactly at the bell and the d is not really playable in first position intonation wise. Definitely needs some time to get used to the instrument.
Got it for 70€ in a very (!!) beaten up condition. Got it roughly fixed for 180€ and now will need to find out what to do with it
About Hüttl in general, there a few german forum sites knowing not to much about it as well
