Looking for a Jerome Callet bass trombone leadpipe. The last time I think these were made was in the late 1990s up until 2003.

I had one of these when I first bought an Edwards bass and then had the collar changed when I moved to Shires. I found that it helped control the great big horns- I was really a tenor player. A couple years ago I bought a Rath and the Rath leadpipe I chose removed the need for the Callet so I included it when I sold my Shires. I have reached out to the friend I sold it to. If he is using a different pipe, hopefully the Callet might be available - will let you know.

Didn't Dillon Music get the rights to make that pipe ? You might be able to get one from them. I have one in my modern Conn bass... Conns are the only Horns I have found them to work with, but we are all different.

Chris:
Interestingly enough, the last Callet pipe I had was in my Conn 62H and it did wonders for it! (Sold it though...) I thank you for the suggestion for Dillon Music. I checked the website and currently they have no leadpipes. I will contact them and verify that they do sell them.

Chris:
I got an e-mail back from Dillon's sales department and they have not make the Callet pipes since 2010 and do not have plans to start making them again.

Greetings. I have Mark's old Shires with the Callet leadpipe. I've settled on the stock Shires #2 leadpipe so the Callet (with Shires collar) is available.
