Bass trombone or tuba shank? Its a bit ridiculous for bass trombone, but I have an LB "O" and an... LB9 or LB10 I can't remember which that works really well on my bass, although Doug can get you one with a tuba shank. For brighter, you might go shallower such as an "M" or "L" cup depth. I imagine something in that ball park would be a good fit for your contra. Especially if its a bass trombone shank.

Have you tried the Marcinkiwicz mouthpieces? 105,106,and 107 (105 is smallest, 107 is largest).

I swear by the Bruno Tilz range. You can’t go wrong with a KB2 or KB2.5.

Actually, a tuba shank….it is for a cimbasso.
