I know this is a fake...Thayers hadn't been invented at this point so it would have been traditional rotors...any art expert would pick up on that...😉

But let's get down to what's important...

THE HARDWARE!

Looks like Yeo Signature mouthpiece to me.

I'm waiting for an embouchure expert to chime in on this, but to me she looks as though she uses way too much pressure on the lips, top and bottom. Doug Elliott should come in but I'm not sure she does Skype.

JohnL, I think it is a Doug Yeo signature mouthpiece but I don't know what trombone she is using; boutique horns hadn't arrived at that time although Leonardo da Vinci had some very forward thinking ideas.

Cheers

I'm offended by the bullet brace. What a demeaning gesture by the original artist.

I was going to say the mouthpiece ring on her lips is a nice detail.

... her creative and industrious spirit shines most brilliantly through Calliope Brass. As the bass trombonist and Artistic Director of Calliope Brass, Jen is able to fully explore her passion for the captivating power of storytelling.

... Jen Hinkle is a performing artist for Edwards Instruments.

See guys, isn't it nice to see we can still have a little fun in the midst of the some the recent "heated" discussions? :P
(After all, we probably have more in common than differences ;))
