Hello everyone,

In a wind ensemble, I am playing Maslanka's "Child's Garden of Dreams", and my part calls for a whisper mute in the second movement. I haven't really found marketed whisper mutes. Do people just use practice mutes when they perform this and other pieces that call for whisper mutes?

Yea just use a practice mute- the actual whispa mute hasn't been made for years, but it's just a practice mute.

I used to have one. Don't remember what happened to it. It was VERY quiet.
