Question - has anyone ever seen parts for "The Ride" that contained rehearsal LETTERS instead of rehearsal numbers? I recently saw an audition list that had the excerpt marked for letters instead of numbers, and was curious.

I've seen editions that use letters, others numbers, and even one that has no rehearsal markings or measure numbers at all.

I once saw an edition that was far too loud and the conductor told me to shut up.

It's quite a well known edition amongst trombonists.
