Looking for info on a trumpet a friend picked up- Probably from somewhere between 1910 and 1930 looking at the case
Says American Made Easy Play engraved inside a shield on the bell - Nice Satin silver with gold wash inside the bell. Black form fit case with green interior similar to Conn. I would guess it is a stencil horn but do not seem to find info when googling
Anyone have solid info?

Easy Play Trumpet?
I can't find it now, but on a Facebook page devoted to old comic book stuff someone posted that old "Get your very own Polaris Sub for $6.95" ad.
On the bottom half of the page was an ad for an "Easy-Play" trumpet by... "Pan American". I thought Pan American was another label of Conn but I'm not sure of the history of that.

Easy Play Trumpet?
Here's a link to a page of a 1926 edition of Popular Mechanics that has an ad for a Pan-American Easy Play trumpet.
https://books.google.com/books?id=b9gDAAAAMBAJ&lpg=RA1-PA164&ots=XdjV-_rHUh&dq=pan%20american%20trumpet%20easy%20play&pg=RA1-PA164#v=onepage&q=pan%20american%20trumpet%20easy%20play&f=false
Apparently, according to the ad, "the trumpet is the star performer in every orchestra or band..."

Easy Play Trumpet?
I just dropped it off at the shop of the technician that does my horn work and he feels it has a lot of the features of a conn including the case.

Pan American was a Conn subsidiary:

Some of the P.A. labeled instruments are quite good, sousaphones in particular.
