My mail has been hacked

Apparently a message with a dangerous attachment has been sent out under my name. I have no idea where it came from.

If you get an e-mail from me with only an attachment, DELETE IT NOW!!!

I'd also appreciate help in cleaning up my system to eviscerate the malware. Didn't show on my usual scanner.

Just an FYI that the malicious email may not have come from you. Your email address may have been spoofed to make it appear that the email came from you. It's relatively easy to manipulate the address headers in email.

Regardless, this stinks.

Yep, got an e-mail from you with an attachment but no note. Looked fishy, didn't open it.
