I'm slowly working my way through the first volume of Rubank trombone duets, recording one part and playing the other. A great learning tool and fun! Does anyone have any background on one of the composers - Henning? Really lovely stuff logically written. Perhaps his first name was Carl, but I haven't found anymore info than that. Any additional information on the composer would be appreciated.
Thanks!

Re: Henning Duets
Yes, Carl Henning authored duets now found as "24 Duos (Duets) for Trombone or Euphonium," or something like that. I had an instructor who used them a lot. I thought they were great. Very musical and interesting.
Henning was German. Late 1800s?... I can't find anything on him.
