Decent DAW Software For iPad

Looking for recording software for iPad. Needs to be user friendly.

Also, best mic setup. USB or Bluetooth?

Consider PreSonus Capture App [DAW for iPad], free and easy to use. Works best with a PreSonus AudioBox microphone interface, but can be used with built-in mic or Shure iPad mic (MV88). Mix and playback directly from the iPad or .wav files for each channel can be easily uploaded to full DAW on a PC or Mac.

If you just want to record audio and video with the iPad - TE Tuner or Practice Center Apps work well and are easy to use.

I have a PreSonus Audio Box w/ mic. My so has it right now. As soon as I get it back, I'll give this a try.

I am also thinking about a DAW and other basic recording and editing software. What about Apple’s Logic Pro X?

Having bought several DAW's to try on an iPad, I'm loving the Steinberg 'Cubasis'.

Easy to understand, record, edit, and it comes with some great effects plug-ins for fine tuning things.

It just 'works' without fuss.

I'm used to over 20 years of using Digital Performer and old Performer, and find it really easy to get into 'Cubasis'.

I feel like garageband is a pretty powerful tool for just capturing multitrack stuff. And it easily integrates with logic. And it’s free.
