Hi all,
I've been playing on a screw-bell instrument for the last few years, but I'm in need of a good, conventional case again. I just purchased a really nice playing early Elkhart (Corporation stamped) Bach 50b2, and I can't bring myself to cut the bell to fit into a screwbell case. Is Bonna still the best bet for a conventional case? I've seen some of the newer protec ipac bass cases, and I own a few pro pac cases that I'm not overly impressed with. I also have an eastman fiberglass case that's ok, but something I'd never fly with.
I'm looking for a good overall case that I could feel comfortable flying with, but still carry to the gig (not a TANK style flight case). Is Bonna still the best option out there for a standard bass trombone case? Thanks!
Best convential case
