Sneaky Ebay Seller. Heigh Ho SILVER!!!

Post by doctortrombone »

This one's come up before, but the description cracks me up.

https://www.ebay.com/itm/Sterling-Silve ... 3274786089

Sterling silver trombone. Sterling, as in "Sterling Tonk Company" who made it. Silver, as in the color of the bell. Trombone, as in the basic shape of this object.

Imagine how many cool, misleading item titles you could have.

My broken '58 Ambassador is a Solid Gold Trombone. Solid, as opposed to gaseous or liquid. Never could stand those gaseous trombones. Gold, as in color.

I have a William's Trombone too. I'm selling it for my friend Bill.

Any of you interested in real estate? I have a $100,000 bar that i'd sell for $15,000.

I love the hose clamp on the mouthpiece receiver.

You mean the stainless steel harmonic bridge? ;)

One thing I like about it is with that flat plate of brass in the tuning-slide crook, it would act as a weathervane if you tried to march with it.

"Hand-hammered" bell sounds so much nicer than "incredibly beat up" ...
