Re: Art baron`s equipment
Art plays a Peppy made horn, the legendary repairman and horn builder for Vincent Bach in NYC/Mt Vernon era. I think it was designed with Neal DiBiase a prominent NYC trombonist who played in the NBC symphony under Toscanini and other orchestra and recording gigs a long while ago. A “PhD—Peppy H? DiBiase” horn I think? It’s a weird .514 bore like some of the obscure Bronx NY trombones produced by Bach. Not sure the mouthpiece size but probably a Mt Vernon or NY. Art is an amazing player and human being!

I believe Art plays a 6.5AL, though I don't think it's a Mt Vernon or NY vintage. I second Ray - I absolutely love Art and think he's an incredible person!
