Shires has a whole lot going on this weekend at their new Holliston, Massachusetts location. I'm hoping to get there on Saturday. I am looking forward to it.

There was a father and son there today who were from further away than you. Son bought a trombone.

I had a great time at Shires factory day today. After more of a master class on breathing, than group warm-up, I took a tour of their lovely, new factory. After Q and A with Steve Shires, I had plenty of time to try instruments. I liked the Q series instrument I played, though there are certainly Shires configurations I like better. They served us pizza for lunch. It was a very good day.

Oh, I meant to say, the showroom in the new location is acoustically lively. To me this makes the trombones sound great, and the trumpets sound painful. Maybe it's just me.
