FS Mount Vernon Bach 36

FS a great looking and fantastic playing Mount Vernon 36. Gold brass bell. Slide is nearly flawless for its age. Original lead pipe has been pulled and a collar added.

Wonderful sound. Large, round, and warm. Fantastic clarity and singing high register. Makes me feel like Glenn Dodson.

This one is an early Mount Vernon example, still with the wide New York stamp spacing, and interestingly is missing the “36” on the stamp. The serial number from the slide and bell section match, confirming it to be an original mating.

Bell has a few marks from a dent removal.

Non original Bach brown case, kinda scruffy.
