WTB: Orchestral Scores

Post by ttf_anonymous »

I'm looking for the following orchestral scores:

Bruckner symphonies
Schumann symphonies
Stravinsky firebird
Bartok concerto for orchestra
Dvorak 8
Tchaikovsky nutcracker
Schubert 8-9

I would also consider other scores if you have something of the above plus others you want to get rid of. Please shoot me an email at mahonnick & gmail ( com.

Amazon used is where I buy all mine. Especially if I need them right away.

The last 3 and Schumann are available on IMSLP.  Probably the Bruckner ones as well.

Do you actually need them in paper or will PDF work?

I also used to get books of scores by Dover.  A lot less money, but the scores are miniature and it's tough to add notations.

Yes, I want paper scores, scores on a screen are pretty worthless for study IMO. Amazon used prices are maybe $5 cheaper than new and often have shipping charges to Canada so I'll buy new unless people offer me used scores at a significant discount.

Dover Scores are pretty good reprints
and priced very economically.
