FS Conn 72h bass trombone w/ removable leadpipes.

Post by ttf_anonymous »

Up for sale is a Conn 72h bass trombone.  This horn has recently come back from the shop and is in great working order.  All slides are smooth, the rotor mechanism is very quiet, and the horn is dent-free. It has great sound and very open valve register. This horn has been around so it isn't the prettiest anymore. I have included in the pictures all the spots where the horn is showing its age.

The horn is set up to accept press-fit leadpipes.  I will include the original leadpipe plus either a Brassark 62 pipe OR a Kanstul Minick pipe, your choice, for $950, or with all 3 leadpipes for $1000.

HELLO  !!!!!!!  jason bennett  visited  the studio this week  and tried many trombones  including
an older 72h //no slide lock // and a later  one  modified into  an open wrap  by chuck @brasslab
he like the  open wrap   one and may be  wanting  to hack  up a  birds nest  onto one
benn hansson has his  yama  to split triggers  and he took  a  benge  290  with him
so i noticed  your  mention  of an ebay listing
    -----------------------------------------------------------
 bidding  was  pretty intense
